HAIR EXTENSION CARE & HAIR PREPARATION
ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT?
You must arrive to your appointment with clean & straightened hair, Shampoo your hair at least 2 times. Do NOT use any conditioner, treatment or any other products besides shampoo on your roots (you can condition your ends only).
We ask that you please do not bring anyone else with you as there is limited space. Please ensure that you arrive at least 5 minutes early. This will ensure you are ready for your appointment on time.

HAIR CARE SHEET
Shampoo your hair in a gentle manner following the direction of the hair.
Condition mid length to ends only.
Tape hair extensions should not be washed until 48 hours after application.
It will take a few days for you to adjust to your extensions. You should never feel any pain throughout the whole process.
Do not apply heat directly to the bonds.
Depending on your hair growth, Hair Extensions need to be retightened every 4 – 8 weeks.
Extensions must be brushed at least twice a day to keep them knot free and to prevent any matting. This should be done with an extension brush and brushing from the ends and working your way up.
It is important to separate the extension bonds from one another at least once a day to prevent hair from matting and tangling near your regrowth.
When blow drying hair, do not use a high heat. This can dry the extensions out overtime.
When sleeping, it is recommended to plait your hair. Never sleep with wet hair and insure hair is completely dry before sleeping.
Keep hair clean and wash immediately after swimming and intense exercising.
Your extensions should only be removed or applied by a hair extension technician.
It’s important to know the human head loses around 100 strands of hair a day. The falling hair that is trapped between the extensions will be seen once the extensions are removed.
You should not use hair products that contains the following - Sulphates, Parabens, Silicon, Keratin or Protein. The recommended brand to use on your hair extensions is the H2B Charcoal range & a soft bristle brush or detangling brush.
